May 15  Military Collectibles Show and Sale

Open to the Public- The New York State Militaria Collectors Association is promoting the semi-annual military collectibles show and sale at VFW Post 3146, 2000 Lemoyne Ave, Mattydale, NY 13211.
Items typically present at the show include relics and antiques from the 1800’s, Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Cold War, OIF, OEF and everything in between! Uniforms, Groupings, Medals, Patches, Pins, Insignia, Helmets, Hats, Badges, Bayonets, Field Gear, Documents and paperwork, Photographs, and more.
Anyone looking to buy, sell, trade, or learn more about historical military items are encouraged to attend.

~June 3 – 5  Oz-Stravaganza – 37th Annual Celebration of L. Frank Baum’s Birthday

Place: Chittenango, NY, the birth place of L. Frank Baum.
Note, this is not an “antiques show” .. just a show that ought to be on your “bucket list”.
This year, the actress who served as the stand-on for Judy Garland on the set of the 1939 “Wizard of Oz” film, will serve as grand marshal of the 2011 Oz-Stravaganza parade. The theme is “Celebrating Dorothy”, and we hope to see you there.
